There aren’t enough accolades in my repertoire to describe the partnership that Ed formed with us during the sale of our home. I’ll start with this; we sold our home in Loudoun County, pre-market, over what our list price would have been, all contingencies waived, and within 30 days. From the moment Ed stepped foot in our front door for an introduction meeting through closing; Ed provided guidance, was a sounding board, and when needed was the voice of reason in what is an extremely stressful time in anyone’s life. What we appreciated most was Ed’s strategy, which he laid out in our first meeting. I firmly believe that it's his strategy and his eye on the market and the competition (i.e. the comps that were popping up during our sales window) that offered us the most competitive advantage in today’s market. Yes, it’s a sellers market, but all it takes is the wrong strategy, timing or pricing to lose the competitive edge. Ed provided us with a clear path to sale, with guidance on exactly what we needed to do to show our home in the best light. And even though there were numerous panicked phone calls made, Ed was always accessible and always had a recommendation to alleviate our concerns. Further, when Ed says he is building a relationship with his clients, he means it. Ed is not transactional, but invests in the well being of the clients he takes on. I left the DC area, and sadly could not take Ed with me, but he is STILL offering advice to me on a regular basis - this is a testament to his values and the relationship he forms with his clients. I will continue to recommend Ed to friends and family, and I truly appreciate his friendship and his continued support of my home ownership journey.
